Memories in Shanghai [7:02am Monday, October 8th, 2007]
*Warning: May contain BAD grammar.

Test for Dementia -- Me likey. Try it! XD~ [6:13am Wednesday, August 29th, 2007]

Below are four (4) questions and a bonus question.  You have to answer them instantly.  You can't take your time, answer all of them immediately.  Okay?

Let's find out just how clever you really are....

Ready? GO!!! (scroll down)

First Question:

You are participating in a race.  You overtake the second person. What position are you in?

~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~
Answer:  If you answered that you are first, then you are
absolutely wrong!  If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second!
Try not to screw up next time.
Now answer the second question, but don't take as much time as you took for the first question, Okay?
Second Question:
If you overtake the last person, then you are...?
(scroll down)
~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~

Answer:  If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?

You're not very good at this, are you?
Third Question:
Very tricky arithmetic!  Note:  This must be done in your head only.  Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it.  Now add another 1000 .  Now add 30.  Add another 1000.  Now add 20.  Now add another 1000.  Now add 10.  What is the total?

Scroll down for answer.....

~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~
Did you get 5000?
The correct answer is actually 4100.
If you don't believe it, check it with a calculator!
Today is definitely not your day, is it?  Maybe you'll get the last question right....... Maybe.
Fourth Question:
Mary's father has five daughters:  1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini,4. Nono. What is the name of the fifth daughter?
~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~

Did you Answer Nunu?
NO!  Of course it isn't.  Her name is Mary.  Read the question again!

Okay, now the bonus round:

A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush.  By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.
Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses; how does HE indicate what he wants?

~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~
He just has to open his mouth and ask...It's really very simple.... Like you!
여름향기 [2:31pm Tuesday, April 24th, 2007]
[ mood | apathetic ]
[ music | MC Sniper - 봄이여 오라 (feat. 유리) ]
Title read as: yeoreum hyanggi; translated into: summer fragrance; and no, I didn't put it up because I'm going to talk about the Korean drama... I put it up as that I'm self-studying Korean now, as how it might be said as 나는혼자서한국어를공부하다. I'm not sure on how I wrote it... but if ever someone would come across this and see it's wrong, tell me.
But I should confess that I don't really know anything much yet on sentence construction... let alone learning the vocabulary. X__x The only un-usual phrase that I'm very confident to say is 나은도니옵타... which literally translates into "I don't have money."
Anyways, for my first assignment, I'm going to romanticize a Korean song. lol~ whenever that'll happen, I'll post it up here.
Wish me luck!! >__>
Hundreds of poor frogs are being skinned by our college at this time of the year... so that we can study what..? their muscles? their internal, external parts... and buccal... CAVITY?!?! It's just stupid. =_=" Froggies die so we can study their "innards"...
Cross sections coming up~!! Woohoo!
My cat, Panda, after being thrown out of the 4th floor window by my mom's worker is still quite all right. I'm just happy she made it from the fall... but I feel so guilty seeing her hobble around with her injured leg. T_T I seriously don't know what to do with her leg. Ohnoooooooo~
Un-nameable [11:35am Sunday, February 11th, 2007]
[ mood | lonely ]
[ music | Jewel - Break Me ]
I feel like such a sap today... too sweet; too cheesy; too feely-feely. I guess it's always this time of the year when I'm annually feeling like a loser stuck at home unloved and alone... eventhough I'm not entirely.  I want someone to talk too right now, but who? I try to think and seem as if nothing's wrong, but internally I'm feeling like there's something big missing.
I went to the dentist just yesterday and noticed that someone has sent her a bouquet of rosey roses. I just smiled at the sight but at the same time felt a little bit envious because I've never really recieved anything like that ever before in my whole entire life. My friend who I was with, when she saw the flowers, exclaimed, "wow! someone sent you two dozens of roses! I envy you... I only got one dozen before. *sniff*
And I replied to her, "I never gotten any before.... )): *bawls*
I guess that'll be the only thing I'll be crying about other than the pain I'll be feeling when they start to do the surgery on my gums tomorrow. Hoho~
Eh... I need to get a life.
Sigh~
New Lookie~ [3:09pm Wednesday, February 7th, 2007]
[ mood | chipper ]
[ music | BoA - Key of Heart (Korean Version) ]
I've changed the layout of my Livejournal! Of course, credits to
[info]accidntl for the coding from the premade layout I got from her. =D I somewhat made it "mushy themed" as it is February, the month of hearts! ^__^ I've put up some credits some place in my profile for the backgrounds and such... it's there..! Just not that visible... =_="
I have Chemistry prelims tomorrow~ I haven't even opened my book yet nor have I answered my review sheet. But I shall do it eventually! I guess right after I finished this post.
I don't even know why I'm posting here. Nobody reads it and I never really liked Livejournal in the first place...
Hmmm... probably because this whole LJ thing's just new to me, caught my interest for the moment, and will gradually just fade away?
Maybe.
